Hao Lam, Controller
Hao is a CPA with over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance in both the private and public accounting sectors. Prior to joining Homebridge, Hao spent four years at a start-up working with global experts in energy efficiency financing to develop innovative energy-based financial mechanisms to support clean technology. The start-up was a spin-off base on work started at Richard Branson’s Carbon War Room and was funded by the DOEN Foundation.
Prior to this, Hao served as the CFO and Controller for the Family Office of Mitch Kapor, where he led in creating, implementing, and managing the accounting systems and controls for multiple non-profit and start-up entities, along with a family office and a private foundation. Hao has Big Four accounting experience at KPMG and have worked in both tax and audit. Hao graduated from UCLA with a BA in Economics.
